Rubia cordifolia, traditionally known as Manjistha, common madder or Indian madder, is a species of flowering plant in the coffee family, Rubiaceae. It has been cultivated for a red pigment derived from roots.

Manjistha is a growing, spreading evergreen that can grow to 1.5 m in height. The roots of the plant are used in Ayurveda to spread through the lymphatic sytem and boost overall immunity and wellness.
